I am being ironic

Recently I found out that one of e guy i know is having an affair.. He has a wife and a kid..
He was caught with another woman overseas holidaying by another friend... Of cos we are not close to his wife so we r not gonna do anything about it.. Afterall, it is none of our business.

Makes me wonder.. Those who heard about his affair, were saying, well his wife is fat and not pretty so make sense..

Frankly speaking, yes his wife is not attractive. But he is not that attractive either.. He himself is not even close to Jude Law!

Sadly, we live in this world where beautiful things on e outside are appreciated.. Who doesnt like beautiful things?

But why everyone thinks is fair for the guys to stray cuz their spouse or partner is not pretty enough? Why only we woman have to groom ourselves to look pretty for the partner? Are we just an accessory and a throphy to them?

When women stray we don't usually say she strayed cuz the husband has a pot belly.. If the wife strayed, would we say it's bcuz the husband is not attractive enuf?

However that is the reality..
I might be vain and being ironic here, but i do want to look good for my partner. I want my partner to hear that he has a pretty gf. If myself being attractive, boosts my partner's ego, I will put on make up, dress up and wear heels for him..

So maybe deep inside, I do agree with the guys tho i want to deny so bad.. yah.. the wife isnt attractive so he stray... End of kopi tok, nothing to discuss any further.

Sad isnt it..?

The freakin weather

I just cant stand this weather.. It is raining and raining and so gloomy..
It is chilly in the night and when i wake up..

Laundry doesnt dry as it should, and my birks slippers get all wet.

That is the reason why, altho i love London, I wouldnt wan to live there.. If i dont see sun, i will be so freakin moody..

Then again, imagining the heat that will conquer soon... I might as well enjoy this without-aircon-nights for a while...

Oh my gosh... I have done it. And the pain was all worth it..

Cuz of my imaginery pain i had for the past few weeks, the pain was bearable.. It feels like cat scratch which i am so used to..

Seriously, it wasnt that pain afterall... It was all in the imagination. :P

It was the shortest 45mins ever!

The photo doesnt look that great cuz i had to twist my body to take this, but it is gorgeous. I love it. I love it. I looooooooooove it!

As Saffy said, Jap did another fanstastic job - after herself and other two gals!! Whoever wants to get inked, I highly recommend you to Jap. He is a cool dude, sweetest guy :)

Raining..

It has been raining cats and dogs ever since I came back from SFO..
xtually it was even before I left..

Whenever it rains, I worry about the stray cats... Though I know they will be fine, hiding under a car or safely sheltered at carparks, where do they find food?

And how about the snails? Tomorrow morning, there will be plenty of squashed snails on the path... Yes, when i spot 'em on the pathways, I will pick em up and put it on the grass...

I feel like i need to go out now to look for stray cats at the basement carpark to feed em and to ensure the snails are safely crossing the path...

Rain Rain.. pls stop..

2006 First Entry

It's 8th day of the New year, and so far, everything seems to be going good..
Except the fact tho i earn more than before, i am broke again with all the shopping I have been indulging.. But worth every cent ;)

Work has been a major headache and stress, sleeping only 3-4 hours a day, seems like I am getting hang of it. Flexi hours help, but cuz of the pressure and stress I have been giving myself for no reason, I cant seem to sleep well. Hopefully it will be better in another few weeks..

Have been losing weight recently due to lost of appetite and dropped all my clothes size. Which gave me another reason to shop for new clothes. Losing appetite might be cuz of stress, and also near new office, there arent much choice for makan like in raffles place used to.. so i chose to starve..

Rain hasnt stopped, seems like it has been raining forever for past two months.. It is so cold at night and east side is a bit worse in a way that it is so windy that i will wake up several times during the night.. cuz of rain and wind hitting on my window.

Have been hanging out with several friends lately. Ex colleagues and ex's friends which has been great fun and relaxing.. I love this kind of kopi-tok meet ups..

Finally have good reason to be glued on TV again which I rarely turned on for past month. Desperate Housewives season 2 is starting as well as American Idol.

Tomorrow I am finally getting inked after few years of dilemma. Found a purrfect gecko design and I am really looking forward to the pain..

Will be travelling again next month which I have one thing to look forward to :)

so 2006 has been good so far..
Hopefully it gets better every day :)
