Ready to fly 19 hours... again!

Work has been extremely busy that i didnt have time to do things that i wanted to do before leaving for SFO again..

Even before flying off later in the afternoon, i have morning concalls and meeting at the clients office then need to rush back home to grab my luggage and head to airport.. Wont even hf time to shower before going to airport!

I am pretty well travelled since young, and i love flying. But as I am getting older, it is just too darn tiring..
So used to packing i can pack within half an hour.. but seriously, I do not know what is in my luggage... My motto is just buy whatever i forgot to bring lor... :P

This time, it looks as if it will be pretty busy.. 2 weeks is filled with schedules plus the apac work i need to do on top of that... aaarrgghh...

But oh well.. no complaints for free travelling :P

Time flies so fast. I was there two months ago.. seems like i was there just few weeks ago!

As usual, i will miss my cats to death.. I just cant leave without them!

Well take care my friends.. I will be back! Definetely! I would still need to come back to pack up and fly my cats over right? hehe

I have lot of friends and I dont really fall out with friends.
For me, if you are my friend, you are my friend. If you are not, I dont bother with you and I wont even bother to know your name..

When I was in school, had loads of friends and we were those group which other classmates thought we were group of bitches and snobs :P
Always hung out with the cool guys and never ran out of boyfriends and dates haha.. those were the days :)

But as you get older, you become selective of who are your real true friends are..
And you become disapointed when you thought someone was your true friend, and in the end you find out she is not... It hurts, cuz u take friendship seriously as you 'age'.
It is not easy to make true good friends. It takes time to get to know that person and to accept the flaws. Someone who you can trust and tell everyting and you know this person will be there when you need her. You are truly happy when things turn out well for her. You are sad when she is sad.

Ah well.. let bygones be bygones.. I still hav friends who I can trust and call up anytime of the day :)

I was kinda stressed out when i left office today...
Had this campaign which I had problems with.. So my mind was occupied with how I should troublehoot and what could be the cause, that I took whatever train that came into the station without thinking twice..

And since I am a right hander, I like to turn right...even when i drive, and i am lost, i am always tempted to turn right at the traffic light.. :P

spring cleaning!

Lunar New year is over and I juz did my spring cleaning..

Just cleared two big trash bag worth of clothes / shoes / soft toys that was collecting dust..

After clearing all that clothes,i realised my cupboard drawer actually can close :P

Really got onto my nerves lately that all my drawers couldnt close anymore, and no more place to hang clothes anymore... gosh..

So i made up my mind, that things must go... So i started digging.. It was simple.. Do i want this? Or not? it was like 1.5 hour worth of sorting out the clothes. And before I could change my mind, I just took the trash bag out.

Have too many tshirts I cant even remember where and when i got it from.. Just too many clothes that i wore only once... impulsive buys.. few years ago clothes that is too yucky and out of style..

So i decided.. Shop more, but clear out the closet once in 5 months.. hehe...

the reason why..

me not going is cuz i might do something rash and ruin it all...

I am just gonna drown in alcohol the night before and will blame the hangover for not turning up..

I farkin scalded my arm!

I was makin my morning hazelnut black coffee.... my mornin ritual..

But last nite while i was cleaning my kitchen counter, i must have moved the air pot.. Cuz the steam vent was facing the right side instead of the other side where it should hav been..

So when i reached out behind the air pot with my right arm (cuz i am a right hander) the steam shot up and cooked my arm directly...

Literally cooked...

Damn.... had to rush to GP since it was so painful and it turned purple!

Lucky it wont be scarred.. however, it needs to be bandaged...is painful.. T_T

Watz e big fuss about Vday?

Feb 14th is near and I am flooded with credit card newsletters with flying hearts and love and romantic mushy stuff..

Damn.. Wat is e big fuss?

Commericial gimmicks to sell more chocolates and coupl-y stuff which is so disgusting.. yuks..

Tiffany&co is packed with guys buying blue box with white ribbons to surprise their girlies.. cant the girls buy on their own meh?

Flowers are ridiculously xpensive.. It's gonna die anyway, whatz the point?

Restaurants have special seating arrangement for the couples.. dammit.. cant i even sit and eat where and what i want on vday?

Have i lost in touch with such coupl-y romantic stuff already?

Damn.... i need a man.. before i turn into grumpy bitchy old maid... :P

I hope it rains.. heavily... with lightening and thunder.. heehee

the bliss of being employeed

Been working like crazy ever since I took on this new job..

I guess that is why i get such a reasonable pay :P

Seriously, nowadays I am getting a bit better, and the flexibility of my working hours and being able to work from home helps.

5am - wake up to catch up with US team to ensure my works are done.
8am - weekly concalls to catch up with the client in US
9-11am - work from home since US knocks off 10am SG time
Reach office about 1pm
1-6pm - catch up with APAC stuff + concalls with APAC + emails + get stuff ready for US to work on
6.30pm- knock off
11pm - weekly concall with acc directors in US/London
12-3am - work with US and brief the work that has to be done

So I calculated, I work about 15-18 hours a day.... hola...
and sleep only 2 hours...

then what do I get...? eye bags..dark circles..and horrible migraine + gastric...

But now, going 3rd month, things are looking up now..
I get to finish my stuff faster and more efficiently without getting US involved so I dont have to work weird hours..

Thank God, the clients are great.. and great colleagues who are there to offer help when i need em :)

My mgr is mad at me and he banned me from sending emails from 7pm - 7am.. haha

I shall try my best.. fingers crossed xxx :))
