sweet but bizzare dream

I had the strangest dream last nite..

I was pregnant, happily married to a rich family.
Coincidently, my husband's younger brother's wife is also pregnant so we were at this furniture shop shopping for baby furnitures. And it is those dark teak wood furniture which I love... So we were looking for closet to keep baby clothes, look for baby day bed (yes baby version day bed!) etc.. (must be the influence of ikea catalog i was flipping during the day)

Me and the sister-in-law was happily shopping... Then mother-in-law came in and she was dang gorgeous.. really those tai tai with blings.. she was telling us this is good this is better etc... And FYI we live together - since we are darn rich, think we live in this big house and babies have a seperate room! but dang... i woke up before actually seeing the house... :P

Then tada~ my husband came with his younger brother - they are in family business of some sort - in flashy bimmer....

but.. i cant figure out how my hubby looked like. he was tall with good built.. prob look alot like my ex ex. anyway he was so generous and loving.. he kind of reminded me of my dad... we walked around the furniture store holding hands and he was like picking the furniture for me saying i need a new dresser etc etc....

but then i woke up....

It was very warm and nice dream..

Drowned in red wine....

Ever since i came back, have been overdosed with red wine every day...

As my trainer always tells me, don't drink alcohol too much... but a little bit of wine is ok... :)

I dont like beer.. It just makes me full and go pee all the time. spirits are fine, but only when I want to get drunk and go crazy... :P So i settled down with red wine. Two to three glasses, I am happy and quite rightly drunk :P

Kind of learnt how to taste wine and differentiate the difference in wines.. but to me seriously, it doesnt matter.. wine is wine. as long as it is sauvignon or chardonnay... Just for knowledge sake i know wat is good and expensive wines so when i go dinner with angmohs and stuff I can pretend that i do know :P

i prefer 100 bottles of 20 dollar cheap but good wines than to 2000 dollars Grande bottle..

ahhh... how i wish right now, have a bottle of red wine, with my ipod and a good book lie down on a daybed in Bali... and watch the clouds go by.........

Back in Seoul again

Left San Fran this morning and now I am in Seoul.. Didnt sleep for 12 hours on the flight. Watched all the movies available and some, i watched 3 times.

Now I feel like a zombie.... brain dead... but the first things i do when i came home? Check my work email... damn... this is pathetic.. all i think about is work, work and work.. and of course my cats..

Overall San Fran trip was a blast. Worked hard, meetings whole day, socialise, went out everynight.. Now as an account manager officially, everyone was congratulating me.. and that actually adds pressure... i am so stressed! i have to change my sign off as "Regional Account Manager" now but that title comes with great amount of responsibility.. So I am still refusing to change my sign off... but one good thing? seems like there will be quite alot of travelling to do next year :) Free trips in company expense.. that I like!

Anyway, i will have two nights here in Seoul and head back home... From Wednesday, big meetings.. sigh...!

Seoul weather is not as cold as SF.. SF weather was beautiful... Sunny yet chilly.. Seoul is bit more gloomy..

I miss my cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In San Fran again.. and am so tired!

It is nice to be back.. third time already... Everything is now so familiar and know what to expect..

Know which shop to go and shop, where to eat, what to do...

Overall, nice weather.. cool and breezy but sunny..

Met up with my best friend, who moved here few months ago.. it was nice.
Met up with my ex, and it was wierd. but we are fine.. it is so wierd that the moment i saw him at the airport, it was like, no emotion no feeling. just felt like looking at a colleague who came to pick me up... tot i might fall for him again, but no... Maybe it is a proof that i moved on and he moved on..
And now, we are fine.. we have mutual understanding... :P

I am so tired.. it is wednesday today, and my jet lag is still lurking...

Went to napa yesterday... Accounts planning meeting.. haha but it was more like account managers and directors fun day out.. napa is nice.. but californian wines.. hmmm.... not my thing.. i like aussie wines better... and my all time fav.. cloudy bay... :)



going for one of the account manager farewell dinner now.. got this famous sake bomb place.. where you pop sake into the beer... but hell no.. i am not getting sloshed tonite.. I got meeting full day tomorrow!!

I am so darn sleepy now!!! :D

Restless

Had a good holiday at langkawi..
Lots of sun, laughter, eat and alcohol... able to do silly and stupid stuff without needing to think..

Got really cooked and burnt and now, my face is peeling.. :|

My mind and brain had a total shut down.. which is amazing cuz usually when i am on holiday, i will still think about work and stuff... but this time round, i had a total shut down... must be the good company..

This coming weekend I will be leaving for San Franciso...
It's my third trip already to frisco, but in which this time round, it will be a bit different.. and sadly, i dread to go.. i wan to rest at home with my kitties.. I dread to be on the 16 hours flight... aaarrrggghh...
However, one thing i look forward to is meeting my best friend at Cheese Factory at Union SQ.. Who just moved to SF few months back to be with her bf.. so that would be super cool!

Then on my way back I have two nights in Seoul again... a relief!

Then when reach Spore i have full one week APAC eMarketing meeting... busy busy..

Then it will be december, and i have to go and haunt for a purfect Christmas tree for this year... thinking of buying a real pine tree this time.. :)
